Ramblings of the jungle cat

I am so glad that tomorrow is the election! I am ready to be rid of the commercials, yard signs, junk mail, and phone calls. So everyone exercise your right to vote tomorrow and may the best candidate win.

P.S. - The only bad thing about the election is no more Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. Watching her do that makes me laugh every time.

I just realized that I haven't posted anything here since June. I guess that means my life has been too busy or too boring - maybe a little of each.

I think it also has to do with a lack of photo-taking on my part. I usually like to share my photos but haven't even had my camera out since early summer. Maybe the leaves changing color will inspire me soon...

I have been outside a lot lately. I have some cool things from nature in my own back (and front) yard!

I went to visit my brother in Florida over the weekend. It was fun. I went to West Palm Beach, Islamorada, Key West, and Ft. Lauderdale. All of the places were nice, but Islamorada was my favorite. Here's a pic from a restaurant I went to Friday night.

Indians Game #1 was so much fun today. It was supposed to rain, but didn't - so that was good. And they won 10-8. And I got a free Progressive Field hat. And I got a magnet schedule. And I am going back for game #2 on Wednesday!

I am supposed to be on the beach tomorrow (the one in my userpic). But instead I will be here at home. Lots of snow dumped out of the sky Friday and Saturday and I couldn't get a flight out. Here's some photos I took of the evil white stuff.

I hope everyone had a very happy Christmas...and is looking forward to a great new year. I have enjoyed the holidays so far. One more "fake" Christmas to go with my Dad's side of the family and then it is all over for another year!
